Our experience in decoration and assembly extends back more than 20 years and includes providing packaging for the Beauty Care Industry with some of the most elaborate decoration requirements in the injection molding industry, helping to capture consumer attention on the retail shelf. Our design team works with the customer upfront to make sure their product design and manufacturing system can include the recommended decoration technology. We are able to make recommendations and design a flexible manufacturing system that can also easily update the decoration to re-fresh the product’s shelf appeal over time without costly redesigns.

Technimark also provides assembly services. We do everything from subassemblies for consumer durables and medical devices to complete pack-outs ready for retail. We also assemble multi-component packages and devices.

We are able to provide decoration and assembly services either through high-volume automated assembly equipment or through semi-automated production in one of our plants in low-labor-cost regions.

For automated assembly and decoration, Technimark has internalized the design and some manufacturing for automation. We build multiple systems per year internally in order to save lead-time, lower costs and protect our customers’ intellectual property.

Depending on our customers’ appetite for capital vs. piece part price, Technimark also makes semi-automated assembly and decoration equipment. While this may take more labor, this can reduce capital costs and the timing for automation build. Many “bridge” automation systems are accomplished this way as well. Technimark can support any level of automation at any of our plants globally.
