Technimark is as versatile as any company in the injection molding industry. We mold almost every type of raw material and produce many different products for a diverse range of markets. We make everything from component parts for consumer durables and electronics to high volume packaging products to medical products.

Given the broad range of tools that Technimark works with, we source molds from many different tooling sources around the globe. Each tool maker is audited and approved by Technimark’s internal tooling engineering group. Our engineering group then works with the tool maker to develop an approved tool design.

Each mold is a custom piece of equipment that is designed and built to produce a specific part. Therefore, each mold is different in its requirements for geometry, tolerances, cooling, raw materials, etc. Our tooling engineers analyze and specify every aspect of the tooling design - the hot runner, gating, steel specification, cooling, parting line, ejection, etc. We believe that the correct tool design is the cornerstone for building a robust mold that meets the needs of the project.

After tool design, we supervise the mold construction through an approved tooling partner. This includes multiple visits to the tool shop at regular intervals to ensure the quality of tool construction. Our tooling and process engineers are intimately involved with all aspects of the tool build all the way through final sampling, de-bug, qualification and process development.
